Jade was diagnosed with Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy at 2 years old and has always been a determined little girl who takes everything in her stride. On 29th July after 4 months of fundraising Jade had Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy Surgery at St Louis Childrens Hospital in Missouri. Jade also required additional surgery on her heel cords which was also performed while in the states on 24th August.

Since our return home Jade has had physiotherapy 4-5 days per week and is recovering well. She is back up on her feet and the wheelchair has been packed away in a cupboard to gather dust! We will continue to work hard to ensure the best possible outcome for Jade as the hard work will be ongoing for her for some time.

We would like to thank everyone who helped us get to this stage. We had such a fantastic response to our fundraising efforts and Jade's life has been changed for the better, without your help we would not be in this position and our family is forever grateful!
